Obituary for MR. BILLY CASTLE

Funeral services for Mr. William Joseph “Billy” Castle Sr. will be held at 3 PM Sunday, March 30, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Visitation will be 1 PM – 3 PM Sunday, March 30, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel. Interment will be 11 AM Monday, March 31, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Cemetery in Columbia, LA. Louisiana direction is being provided by Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia, LA.

 Mr. Castle, 55, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Knoxville, TN. He lived in Louisiana most of his life but moved to Philadelphia in 2018. He was a Marine Veteran (a die hard Marine) and a truck driver. He was Baptist by Faith. His hobbies were hunting, hunting with dogs, baseball, softball and he loved grilling and cooking. He is preceded in death by his father, John Clemmie Castle Sr. 

Survivors include his wife Dena Phillips Castle of Philadelphia; daughter, Abbott Ruth Castle of Keithville, LA; son, William Joseph Donley of Nashville; step daughter, Clair McLain of Philadelphia; step son, Colby McLain (Hailey) of New Orleans; bonus daughter, Raigan Back of Nashville; sisters, Connie McKee of TX, Carla Castle of WV, Christy Caldwell, Misty Stalnaker both of LA; brother, John Clemmie Castle Jr. of OK; (4) grandchildren, Lennon, Parker, Rivers, Stetson and a host of nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be William Joseph Donley, Colby McLain, Donovan Bennett, Steve Crum, Dennis Hill, John Smart.
