Funeral services for Billy Michael "Mike" Brown will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday January 14, 2015 from the sanctuary of Clarks Baptist Church with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating and Buddy Carter delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. Visitation will be on Tuesday January 13, 2015 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Billy Michael Brown was born on April 12, 1947 at Clarks LA to the union of his parents Edward W. Brown and Mary Gwendolyn Powell Brown and he passed from this life on Monday January 12, 2015 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his mother Gwen Walker and by his step-father Francis Walker. He was a member of Clarks Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory his beloved wife of forty seven years: Sandra Green Brown of Columbia; one brother: Edward E. Brown ; his sister: Freda Walker and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
