Betty A Lombard

Funeral services for Betty A. Lombard, age 71, of Grayson will be held 1:00 PM Thursday July 14, 2022 from the sanctuary of Grayson Baptist Church with Rev. John Egbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. The Lombard Family will receive guests on Thursday at the church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Betty A. Lombard was born on February 18, 1951 at Columbia, LA and passed from this life on July 10, 2022 at her residence in Grayson following an extended illness. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Daisy Pearl Gordy and by her grandson, Holden Hughes. Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a wonderful friend to all.  She had always excelled at everything she ever undertook in life. She was a Registered Nurse having worked in ICU and retired as a Hospice Nurse. She had also pursued careers in real estate and insurance. Some of her hobbies were cooking, painting and she loved to dance. She was a lovely lady and she will be missed by all who loved her and knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kirk Lombard, her son: Mark Poole; her daughters, Autum Golden (Myles) and Summer Hood (Ashley); her sons,  Ryan Lombard (Jennifer) and Aaron Lombard; two sisters, Linda Rolen (Ronnie) and Ouida Hartman (Don); her beloved grandchildren, Donovan Poole (Samantha), Lauren Furstenau (Craig) Sydney Poole, Kelsie Poole, Drake Dillon (Lila), Olivia Golden,  Taylor Hood, Hannah Hood, McKenzie Hughes, Kingston Hood, Devon Lombard, Kylie Lombard, Michael Henson; great-grandchildren, Bradley Palmer, Amelia Poole, Julia Poole, Charlie Furstenau and Wesley Furstenau; and numerous cousins and her "Precious Cat" Casper.

Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Hood, Kingston Hood, Drake Dillon.Colt Chabert, Chuck Cruse and Zeb Tucker. Honorary pallbearers include Donovan Poole, Michael Hartman, Gary Richardson and Glenn Richardson.
