Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Strange Hall, age 48 of Columbia, will be 3 PM Friday, November 13, 2009 from the sanctuary of Banks Springs Baptist Church in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Riley and Bro. Brian Rankin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West of Columbia. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the church from 4 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Hall was born in Monroe to the union of Robert "Bob" and Maggie Spillers Strange and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother; Maggie Strange, fiancé; Shawn Crawford, three brothers: Preston Strange, A.B. Strange and Andrew Strange, sister; Marion Kay Knowles, five nieces, three nephews, two great-nieces, one great-nephew, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and special friend; Christy Hitt Sears. Pallbearers will be Bobbie Feltner, Matthew Strange, Bryan Soto, Andrew Strange, Sr., Dakota Crawford,Bobby Dubois, Hagen Crawford and Joe Bailey.
