Ben Lee Milton

Ben Lee Milton was born on July 17, 1935, in Wynne, Arkansas and he passed from this life on March 30, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He retired as a heavy equipment operator after 50 years. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was hunting, fishing, or gardening. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Minden, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Milton of Dixie Inn, LA, and his three children, Ricky Milton and wife, Lorrie of West Monroe, LA, Wade Milton and wife Cindy of Grayson, LA, Reba Briscoe and husband, Steve of Columbia, LA; step daughter, Cindy Scroggs and husband, Max of Minden, LA; grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Lauralee, Benjamin Lee, Robert Wade, Aaron, Lynn, Chris, Joe, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Gregory, Conner, Leala, Benjamin, Isaac, Abby, Sam, Max, and Lyla. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 half brothers and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Wade Milton, Ricky Milton, Aaron Briscoe, Lynn Briscoe, Joe Scroggs, and T.J. Bird. Graveside services for Ben will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 3, 2015 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Max and Chris Scroggs officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Baptist Church of Minden, LA building fund.
