Becky Meredith

Funeral services for Mrs. Becky Meredith, age 47 of Grayson, will be 2PM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks with Rev. Keith Thomas and Rev. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Visitation will be Friday evening at the church from 5PM to 9PM. Mrs. Meredith was born in Columbia on June 2, 1962 to the union of Buel Aaron and Reba Lea Price Meredith and passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at her residence. Becky was a 1980 graduate from Caldwell PArish High School. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and worked as a CNA who was dedicated to her patients and work. She was preceded in death by her father; Buel Meredith, maternal grandparents; Buck and Cleo Price and paternal grandparents; Alva and Gladys Meredith. Survivors include her mother; Reba Hendrix of Grayson, son; Phillip Anderson of Columbia, two brothers; Oby Meredith and wife, Martha of Clarks and Bryan Meredith and wife, Jan of Grayson, two step-sisters; Trena Mills of Grayson and Clivette Scroggs and husband, James of Kelly, expecting first granddaughter in February and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Derek Pauley, Tracey Pauley, Michael Meredith, Gus Mills, Jesse Hendrix and Terry Kelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Elbert Lee Pauley and Russell Price.
