Rebecca "Becky" Grant Bratton

Funeral services for Alma Rebecca "Becky" Grant Bratton, age 76 of Urania, will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, April 15, 2022, from the Olla chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. C. R. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Urania Cemetery at Urania, LA. The Bratton Family will host visitation at the Riser & Son Funeral Home located at 4823 Main Street 165, Olla, LA from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022. 

Becky Grant Bratton was born on June10,1945, in Michigan to the union of her parents, Morris Martin and Dottie Sarah Martin, and she passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her residence in Urania, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bratton was a school bus driver in the LaSalle Parish School System for twenty-nine years. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and by her brothers, Danny Grant, Narvel Grant, and Ronnie Grant. She was a 1963 graduate of Kelly High School.

Left to cherish her  memory is her husband of sixty-one years, five months and ten days, David Bratton of Urania; her son, Timothy David Bratton, Sr. and wife, Dianna L. Bratton of Urania; her daughter, Sarah Teresa Bratton West (Travis) of Olla; her brother, Reginald Grant of Pheonix, Arizona; four grandchildren: Jerimy Nino, Timothy David Bratton, Jr., Shelby L. Bratton and Koty West Rawls (Jordan Rawls); and her great-grandchildren: Kenzie Nino, Cohen Nino, Jaxson Nino, Hunter Nino, Trey Rawls, Natalie Swinnea, and Raegen Swinnea.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Brown, Ray Bratton, Aubrey Bratton, Jeremy Nino and Joe Nino. Honorary pallbearers include Wesley Halliburton, Timmy D. Bratton, and Stacy Pittman.
