Beatrice Fletcher

Funeral services for Beatrice (Peppenhorst) Fletcher age 89 of Kelly,LA will be held 10AM Monday Dec. 14,2009 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Christmas Wilbur officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. The Fletcher Family will receive visitors on Sunday evening at Riser Funeral Home from 5 to 7pm. Beatrice Peppenhorst was born on October 27, 1920 at Kelly, LA. to the union of her parents Dennis James Peppenhorst and Annie Lee Jordan Peppenhorst.She passed from this life on Dec.12 following an extended illness. The love of her life L. T. Fletcher preceded her in death, along with her parents, two brothers: Don and William Peppenhorst, and a set of sibling twin infants. She was a lifelong resident of Caldwell Parish and specifically Kelly, where she graduated high school, and where she raised her family. She was a longtime member of Kelly Methodist Church. Survivors include: Three sons: Stan Fletcher and wife Virginia of Shreveport, Greg Fletcher and wife Nawasa of Haughton, and Troy Fletcher of Kelly. Two sisters: Bessie Dixon of Linden, AL and Ann Steen of Midwest City, OK; and a special sister-in-law: Grace (Fletcher) Harris of Olla. Seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Fletcher, Kacey Fletcher, Kai Fletcher, Wesley Fletcher, David Cummings, and Danny Cummings.Honorary pallbearers will be John Cummings and Jack Cummings.
