Barbara Bearden Brister Brandao

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Bearden Brister Brandao, 65 of Bernice and formerly of Columbia will be held 1:00 PM Friday July 22, 2016 from the sanctuary of Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 11:00AM until time of service at the church. Barbara Ann Bearden Brister Brandao was born on April 20, 1951 at Columbia and she passed from this life on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at the Reeves Memorial Hospital in Bernice following an extended illness. She was a former resident of Caldwell Parish. She was a member of the Abundant Life Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her parents Robert Bearden and Milton and Laura Richmond Latapie; her grandparents: Herbert and Bertha Boyd Richmond; her uncle: Rick Richmond and her aunt: Carolyn Richmond Escalon Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Kimberly Brister of Seattle, Washington and Christina Brister of Winnsboro; her sister: Lora Latapie Allen and husband Daniel of Monroe;a niece Kennedi; and four grandsons: Christopher Brister, Dyllan Crum, Billy Hawn, and Jacob Sanderson. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Escalon, Bo Escalon, Christopher Brister, Dyllan Crum, Darryl Johnson, and Daniel Allen.
