Audrey Lene Myers Wolf

Audrey Lene Wolf was born January  17, 1943, in Monticello, LA to the union  of Luther and Verlon “Tally” Myers. She was the second born to their family of five. She stepped into the arms of her Jesus on February 18, 2023, at her home in Hebert, LA. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James Luther Myers and Gary Lee Myers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tony Marvin Wolf of fifty-eight years, as they were married in October of 1968. Her daughter, Cindy Wolf Windsor (Paul) of Charlotte, North Carolina whom she was extremely proud of. Two beloved granddaughters, Whitney Renee Windsor and Logan Nichole Windsor who were the joy of her life, also of Charlotte, North Carolina. Brother, Jimmy Mack Myers (Lavonda) of Monticello, LA, and sister, Ann Myers Lovelady (Scott)of Columbia, LA.  Her “doll baby”, Lyndsey Brooke Lovelady and “Drew Man”, Andrew Scott Lovelady (Mara) of Columbia, LA, precious sisters-in-law, Mary Florance Wolf Myers and Shirley Wolf Bailes (Buddy).  She loved her seven nieces and five nephews to a fault and loved to share memories of her time with them every chance she got.

She and Tony moved to Hebert, LA in 1968 and were farmers for many years. Audrey was always right beside Tony working and harvesting their land. She loved to fish and hunt when she was able and competed in and won fishing tournaments over the years.

Audrey loved her God with all her heart and relished the opportunity to share that faith with others. She had a servant’s heart and that is what her family will miss the most. She loved big and gave of herself selflessly!

A graveside service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery on February 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends may begin to gather at 9:45 AM.

A special thank you to Dr. Pankaj Shroff, Dr. Kurt Olinde, Dr. Randy Head, Mangham Home Health and Michelle Quaid and Chrissy Blades with St. Joseph’s Hospice for the excellent care she received during her illness. Also, a special thank you to Steve Onstott for all his help.

Pallbearers will be her nephews: Macky Myers, David Myers, Jay Myers, Drew Lovelady, son-in-law Paul Windsor and brother-in-law Scott Lovelady.
