Funeral services for Audie Lea Johnston Floyd, age 86 of West Monroe will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 26, 2016 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Owens of Woodlawn United Methodist Church officiating the funeral. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Audie Lea Johnston Floyd was born on January 7, 1930 at Grayson, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Charles Galloway Johnston and Della Mae Wright Johnston. She passed from this life on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles L. Floyd, Sr.; by her son, Eddie Floyd; by her parents and twelve brothers and sisters. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and a nurturing, loving mother. Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. Floyd, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Lafayette, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
