Arlis Woodrow Grant

Private graveside funeral services for Arlis Woodrow Grant, age 84, of West Monroe will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at  Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson with his grandson, Jim Grant officiating. The family will receive the public for visitation at Riser & Son Funeral Home in Columbia from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM.

Arlis Woodrow Grant was born on  November 23, 1940 at Columbia, LA  and passed from this life on Friday February 28, 2025 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following a brief illness. He served as Transportation Superintendent for forty-two years  for Entergy, Inc.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years Elizabeth; his son: James, two grandsons, Jim (Anna Claire); Jon (Tiffaney); three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Rhett and Cooper. He also leaves behind his mother and his brother, Garland Grant (Lynn).
