Funeral services for Mrs. Argentina Alaniz Tarver, age 77 of Columbia, will be 10 Am Monday, May 25, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Chris Gainous officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery east of Columbia. Visitation will be Sunday, May 24, 2009 from 5PM to 9PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Mrs. Tarver was born on May 10, 1932 and passed from this life on May 23, 2009 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; San Juan Tarver. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Tarver of Columbia, daughter, Linda Breland of Columbia, three brothers: Joe Alaniz, Art Alaniz both of Rocky Branch and Gus Alaniz of Monroe, two grandchildren: Catina Beckley and Jonathan Beckley and two great-grandchildren: Hannah Beckley and Abigail Beckley.
