Funeral services for Antonio Harris, age 39 of Columbia, Louisiana will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Life Church of Columbia, Columbia, LA with Bro. Dean Love officiating. Interment will follow at Brownville Cemetery, Columbia under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday, March 5, from noon to 4 PM.
Antonio Dion Harris was born June 26, 1981 in Jackson Parish, LA and passed away February 19, 2021 in Columbia. Antonio is the son of Sandra Harris. He attended Jasper Henderson Elementary and Chatham High School in Chatham, LA while living with Mildred Harris, his loving and patient grandmother who raised him. He later graduated from Job Corps in Shreveport, LA and received a degree in welding. While living in Columbia, Antonio had six children. Antonio was well known to the public. He never met a stranger. Antonio made everyone he came in contact with welcome to whatever he had.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother, Sandra Kay Harris; three daughters: DaeMaya Tugger of Ruston, LA, Jasmine Green of Columbia, LA, and Shonte' Harris of Winnsboro, LA; three sons: DeVonte' Tatum of Columbia, LA, Eddie Turner "Boss Man" of Dallas, TX, and Antonio Harris, Jr. of Winnsboro, LA; three sisters: Jeliza Butler, of Columbia, LA, Muriel Hearns of Monroe, LA, and Temicka Williams of Clarks, LA; three brothers: Jonathan Harris of Columbia, LA, Kenneth Hester of Chatham, LA, and Marcus Williams of Columbia, LA; godmother, Kathy Wooten of Columbia, LA; four nieces and three nephews as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cordell Wilson, Dedric Cloman, Jason Lowe, Tayo Olayinka, Dee McCarthy and Willie Bess. Honorary pallbearers are Antonio Harris, Jr., Jonathan Harris, Eddie Turner "Boss Man", Kenneth Hester, DeVonte' Tatum, MacArthur Jones, Marcus Williams, Mark Bess, Jeffrey Edwards, and Jermain Blair.
