Angela Renee Escalon-Knight

Funeral services for Angela Renee Escalon-Knight age 55 of Grayson  will be held 2:00 PM, October 21, 2024 from the sanctuary of Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Rod Shipp and Bro. Billy Lane McClanahan officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home. The Escalon-Knight family will receive visitors on Sunday October 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church. 

Angela Escalon Knight was born November 26, 1968 in Columbia, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Manuel Escalon and Carolyn Richmond Escalon and passed from this life unexpectedly on October 13, 2024 at her home with Cheryl and David Jenkins. Angela was a sweet person. She loved her children, and grandchildren beyond measure. Angela always enjoyed being outside with her dad and loved all the flowers her parents had at their old home place. She loved shopping, especially for purses and shoes. Angela had a sassy side and if she loved you, she loved you, but if you hurt someone she loved she was quick to say "Do you want me to throat punch them for you"? 

Angela was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother, Mark Escalon; Uncle Raymond Escalon(Juanita), Uncle Rick Richmond and Uncle Milton Latapie (Laura). Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Matt Knight (Amber) and Coltin Knight; grandchildren, Rayleigh Knight and Kyson Knight; a brother, Tim Escalon; sister, Cheryl Escalon Jenkins (David); as well as a host of nephews, and one niece that she loved with all her heart.

Pallbearers will include Shea Masoner, Jaden Masoner, Kori Escalon, Collin Johnson, Austin Fitzgerald, and Darryl Johnson.
