Funeral services for Amy Tucker, age 51 of Clarks, LA, will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Grayson, LA with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Burial will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia. The family will hold a visitation at the church on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 5 PM until 8 PM and again on Sunday from 2 PM until service time at 3 PM.
Amy Lynette Duncan Tucker was born June 8, 1970, in Monroe, LA to the union of her parents, Roy Mike Duncan and Annette Lafferty Duncan, and she passed from this life on August 3, 2021 in Lake Charles, LA after a brief illness. Amy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. She loved flowers especially pink roses. You always knew where you stood with Amy because she would always tell you what she thought. Under her tough exterior was a sweet and loving heart though. She loved her family dearly and she will be missed greatly. Amy was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Michael Wade Tucker, Sr.; her son, Michael Wade Tucker, Jr.; and her infant daughter, Virgil Mae Tucker.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Annette Sikes; her daughters: Kacey Guinn (Chris) and Brigette Lincecum; brothers: Michael Duncan and Tony Duncan; sister, Tina Duncan (Willis Davis); grandchildren: Danny Pauley, Harmony Guinn, Elisa Lloyd, James Lloyd, David Lincecum, Jr., Braxton Lincecum, and Tucker Norrell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be George Duncan, Scooter Ainsworth, Josh Massey, Joshua Harrison, Bubba Mims, and Matthew Barnhill. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan, Bradley, and Dustin Spratt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Riser Funeral Home to assist with the final expenses. Donations may be mailed to PO Box 57, Columbia, LA 71418 or by calling 318-649-2311.
