Funeral Services for Mrs. Alma Marie Ainsworth Busby Vestal will be at 3:30 pm Saturday, November 21, 2009, from the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle of Grayson with Rev. David Gomez delivering the eulogy and Rev. Sherman Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lowe Cemetery of Kelly under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Vestal, 86, of Columbia, passed from this life on Thursday, November 19, 2009, in the Haven Nursing Center of Columbia. She was a waitress most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Vestal; one grandson, Scotty Busby; sisters, Dollie Ainsworth and Avice Varnell Wilks; and her brother, Miron Ainsworth. Survivors include her daughters; Myrtie Laffoon of West Monroe; Marie Thomas and husband Jeff of Grayson; Opal Borden and husband Lloydalee of Harleton, TX; her sons: Fred Busby and wife Pat of Clarks and Tommy Busby and wife Peggy of Swartz. Her sister: Lillie Stone of Columbia. Her brothers: Hugh Ainsworth of Monroe and Marvin Ainsworth of Belton, TX: 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren , 3 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Huey Laffoon, David Laffoon, Dale Borden, Stacy Atkins, Timmy Cox, and Kenneth Hofler, Jr. Honorary pallbearers Brian Thomas, Trey Paroline, and Tim Cox, Nathan Laffoon and Danny Laffoon. Friends may call at Riser Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, November 20, 2009 and from 9:00 am until time of services in the Church on Saturday.
