Cleveland Webb "Cleve" Womack

Funeral services for Cleveland "Cleve" Webb Womack, age 64 of Jonesville, Louisiana will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, Jonesville, Louisiana with Bro. Perry Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, Louisiana. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the church.


Cleveland Webb Womack was born March 27, 1953 in Harrisonburg, Louisiana to the union of his parents, M. T. "Huey" Womack and Ann Webb Womack and he passed from this life on March 10, 2018 after losing his battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, M. T. Womack: grandparents: Grover C. Womack, Eunice Richardson Womack, A. A. Webb and Louise Humphries Webb; uncles: George "Buster" Womack, J. G. Womack and Scott Webb; aunt, Doris Evans Womack Willis and his niece, Courtney Scott McGuffee.


Cleve was an avid outdoorsman and while he enjoyed hunting and fishing his love was shooting. He would reload his own ammunition and was an expert marksman. He loved to tell stories and talk politics with his friends. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren. Cleve was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Jonesville.


Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Deborah McGuffee Womack, his children: Cari Ann Nicholson and husband, Nick of Jonesville, Gretchen Bacon and husband, Terry of Jonesville and Cleveland Webb Womack II and wife, Megan(Olivero) of Lafayette; his mother, Ann Webb Womack; sister, Janie Womack Cater; brother, Bill Wesley Womack; grandchildren: Hunter Nicholson and wife, Jessica (Branton), Natalie Nicholson, George Bacon, Carol Ann Bacon, Cari Scott Bacon, and Cleveland "Tre" Webb Womack III; his mother-in-law, Irma Dean Eubanks McGuffee and aunt, Alma McClure Womack.


Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Cater, Neil Riser, Bo Hudnall, Ernie Reeves, James Aplin, Craig Edwards, Scotty Smart and James Glenn Kelly. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Nicholson, Terry Bacon, John Womack, Wesley Womack, Jake Womack, Clay McGuffee and Ron Philley.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
